Reiki HealingÂ
Reiki is a healing technique based on the principle of free and uninterrupted energy flow that helps activate the natural healing processes. As a Certified Reiki Practitioner, Ginger helps patients reduce their stress and anxiety, among other ailments.
Each Reiki treatment session starts with a conversation between Ginger and the client. She listens to the client's current state of body and mind.Â
During the Reiki session, the individual remains fully clothed while relaxing comfortably on a massage table or sitting in a chair. The practitioner allows her hands to rest on or slightly above the recipient in a number of positions corresponding to the body’s major energy centers (or chakras). The recipient has only to be open to accepting the energy, and draws in the amount needed to activate healing and release of energy blocks.
​Many sense a feeling of warmth emanating from the practitioner’s hands as the energy is drawn. The experience is different for each person since Reiki ‘meets you’ where you are. Many clients report feeling deeply relaxed and meditative during and after a session. Others may experience warmth, coolness, or tingling sensations during the session.Â
